Design that makes the product obvious.

Research, wireframes, interactive prototypes, design systems and accessibility review — tested with users before anything is built.

Most usability problems are decided before design starts, in the assumptions about who uses the product and what they are trying to finish. Research surfaces those cheaply; rebuilding after launch does not.

We deliver a tested prototype and a design system your engineers can build from, rather than a folder of pretty screens with no rules behind them.

§ 01ScopeWhat is included

What this covers

01

Product and user research

Interviews, task analysis and a review of your support tickets — the cheapest usability data any company already owns.

02

Wireframes and interactive prototypes

Clickable prototypes tested with real users, so decisions are settled before they cost engineering time.

03

Design systems and component libraries

Tokens, components and usage rules, handed over in a form engineers can implement directly.

04

Accessibility and usability review

An audit of an existing product against WCAG 2.2 AA, with fixes ranked by user impact.

§ 02MethodFour reviewable stages

How we run it

Four stages, each with something you can review at the end of it.

01

Research

Who uses this, what they are trying to finish, and where the current product gets in the way.

02

Structure and wireframes

Information architecture and low-fidelity flows agreed before any visual design.

03

Prototype and test

Interactive prototypes put in front of real users, with the findings written up.

04

System and handover

A component library and specification, with engineering handover sessions.

§ 03DeliverablesYours at handover

What you get

Concrete deliverables, listed in the contract. Everything below belongs to you at handover.

  • Research findings and task analysis
  • Information architecture and user flows
  • Interactive prototype
  • Design system with tokens and components
  • Accessibility review against WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Engineering handover specification

Questions about uI/UX design

Can you redesign without rebuilding?

Often, yes. A design system laid over an existing front end fixes most of the inconsistency without touching business logic. The audit tells you which problems need engineering and which do not.

Do you do brand identity too?

We work within an existing brand, and we can extend one into a product design system. Full brand identity from scratch is not our practice, and we will say so rather than take the work.
